| SACRAMENTO – Following the collaborative effort and technical rescue that was conducted into the early hours of the morning, several media requests have been made to follow up with the rescuers.
If you would like to contact Fire Fighter John Clark, the Fire Fighter who climbed the wire and made contact with the victim, or Battalion Chief Marc Bentovoja, the site rescue group supervisor, please feel free to call my cell (916) 216-0316. John Clark, 33, is a six year veteran Fire Fighter of the Sacramento Fire Department who is assigned to Truck Company Six which responds out of Oak Park in the City of Sacramento. Acting Battalion Chief Marc Bentovoja is a 19 year veteran of the department and has extensive rescue training. He has been an instructor for rescue courses and is considered a resource for agencies throughout the region in the field of technical rescue. |
