SACRAMENTO - A Full Honors Procession and Memorial will be held for fallen Sacramento Fire Apparatus Operator Matt Bera, who lost his battle with cancer on August 6, 2005.

The following event timeline can be used to assist in covering this event:

10:00-10:30 a.m. A procession of fire equipment (Engine 2 – with casket, Truck 2, Medic 6, and family) will head through the downtown area to pass by Fire Station 2, Matt’s Fire house. Several Fire Companies and personnel will be standing along 13th and I St. at attention as the procession passes.

10:30-11:00 a.m. Arrival of Procession at Capitol Christian Center, 9470 Micron Ave.

MEDIA PARKING AT FRONT- EAST SIDE

1:00 p.m. Funeral Recession begins with Allied Agency Apparatus to cemetery.

1:45 p.m. Graveside Service – Media is allowed, limited access.
